mind the gap

Sitting in front of the TV watching "Fantastic Voyage" seems like a good idea.
Rearranging the furniture in the lounge while your housemate is away and can't balk makes perfect sense.
Washing the windows of the front door is a better way to spend time than say, writing a paper your visa depends on you finishing by 1 Sept.

Welcome to my world. It's not always a scary place but for your own protection, please fasten your safety belt and remain seated until the car has come to a complete stop.

Now back to that "Fantastic Voyage" thing. I haven't had satellite TV since I moved and Sky won't be here to install until Thursday. So I'm having to slum it with 5 channels. Channel 4 is the only one that comes in well today as we're having a horrible rain/thunderstorm. As I refuse to sit in silence and my CDs are still in boxes, "Fantastic Voyage" is it. If you haven't seen the movie, let me summarize. 1960s sci-fi film about the first attempt to perform micro brain surgery. In order to do this, they SHRINK some people and put them into this man's body in a hi-tech space, body orifice journey. No really.. and they have to dodge attacking white blood cells that look like killer radioactive kelp and everything. They escape just in the nick of time. Hey, it has Raquel Welch in it and everything. What more does a 1966 sci-fi flick need??

Yes, I'm bored! It's pissing down rain and there's not a lot of unpacking to be done as my room won't be painted until Tuesday. It's Friday and I have no plans until tomorrow.
