I've been awful about updating my blog, even when things are going on! I have 3 interviews coming up, one this Thursday and 2 on 17 April. The 2 in April are both in Marin county and the one on Thursday is in Santa Rosa. I'd love to work in Marin but oh man! I cannot afford to live there! I'd be making between $61-66,000 per year but would be at minimum $400,000 for a 1 bed/bath condo. Ack! I'll end up sleeping in my car, that I don't have.I went to the bank earlier this week to see about getting a car loan. With no income, they were nice in saying no but I felt like a complete loser. I have money but with no income, yeah, forget borrowing money. So I'm still using my mom's car during the week and picking her up after work.
On Tuesday, I had the dog for the day. We lounged around together and then he went to the vet for shots. (Yes Laura, I vaccinate my dog. Heh!) He needed a cortisone shot for a hot spot on his back and special shampoo for allergy-prone skin. $75 later... we came home and had a bath. I hate taking him back out to my friend's house but my parents just won't let me keep him here. Oh, and while at the vet I had him weighed. Drumroll please.. 107 lbs!! Good grief, no wonder I can't lift him by myself!
Tonight we had a family birthday celebration which was rather uneventful. Dinner and NCAA basketball, good dessert and talking with my cousin. Tomorrow, off to visit Disa for a few days.
