mind the gap

06 October 2005

I had duty at tea break today and as I was standing behind the gym, shooing away students from sneaking a smoke, one of them called me "Miss America"! Yes, the dream of millions of little girls every where is to be known as Miss America. Who knew I'd have to be 31 and 5800 miles away from home in order for a 13 year old English girl to recognise that yes, I AM MISS AMERICA.

I had a doctor's appointment in London today for more meds. The story of my life.. more meds. But at this point, whatever keeps me sane and normal is fine with me. We talked about changing my doseage to be a bit higher temporarily because I haven't been able to kick the latest round of "I suck and will never be good at anything I attempt, ever." It was a discouraging day at school, other than being called MISS AMERICA. When I think I've got it right, something else happens to make me realise I'm still a bit clueless.
