04 October 2005 The last few days have been busy, some with work, some with fun. We had no school on Friday so we could prepare for Open Day on Saturday. It was a busy day and by 2:30, everyone was snarky and tired. We retired to the pub before someone lynched our faculty leader and by 5:30, I was home alone and enjoying the quiet.I went into London Saturday night to have dinner with Jack and Zane. I miss our building. I miss my neighbourhood. I miss the sounds of the city. I wish it wasn't such a miserable commute out here to work or I'd be back in the city in 2 seconds. We had Vietnamese in Highbury and enjoyed good food and wine. I wish I had some great story to tell about the night out but really, it was nice to visit and just enjoy being back in the city. Sunday was a day to collapse and do laundry. Monday I went back to the city to see Laura and do some shopping. Oh how I miss Oxford Street! The shoes! The shops! And today...back to the grind.
