mind the gap

26 September 2005

"Now to Him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you unblemished and exultant, in the presence of his glory, to the only God, our savior, through Jesus Christ our Lord be glory, majesty, power, and authority from ages past, now, and for ages to come." Jude 24-25

Today, I was tired of being nice. I decided it would be 'Don't start with me' day and it worked. Go figure! I made phone calls home and got some good support from parents. We'll see if any of it pays off later, especially where my fringe dwellers are concerned. I didn't get home until 7pm because I had parent conferences after school. Today has been a long day but it was productive and I left feeling good about work.

I got home and spent some time booking my flight home next month and applying for my visa. I'm not going to bother with the stupid Home Office again because I'm afraid I'll have problems with getting my FLR(IED) again. One thing at a time. Going home, visiting friends and family, sorting out visa, seeing my dog, and traveling the state... sounds like a whirlwind trip but worth it to get my head in the right place.

Thank you God for a peaceful day and renewed strength to carry on.
