mind the gap

20 May 2005

I'm back from CA. It was so good to be home for a while. I really needed the recharge.
I got my marks back from my autumn courses, a B+ and a B. I'm not exactly thrilled with B's but I did my best. Still working on papers for spring courses. Meh.
FWB should be home early Monday morning. Missing him big time. We have had a few phone chats and texts while we've both been gone. It will be so good to see him next weekend.
Laura's having contractions! I'm so glad the baby waited until I got home to make his appearance. She's not feeling so hot today and the midwife said the baby is in the right postion for everything to happen soon. I'm praying for a quick and relatively easy birth for her. And I can't wait to see the baby! I brought lots of presents back for him (and a few for Mommy as well).
I haven't unpacked hardly anything but the bare essentials. My suitcase beckons and I'm resisting the urge to unpack. It makes such a mess to unpack. But I will need clean clothes and to get out presents for the baby and FWB.
I mailed back things Michael gave me. He said not to waste my time or money on him but I didn't want reminders of him laying around my flat. Going home was a good way to get on with things. FWB has been a good way to get on with things too! Hehe!
