IKEA was fab! There was no crowd, we didn't get lost AND we got a good parking space. All is right with the world. On the way back, we decided to stop at Borders and get a mocha. We got all excited and duly prepared for a caffeine fix when Laura stopped and started laughing. Apparently, Borders doesn't open in Brent Cross until MARCH 2005! We saw all the employees happily unpacking boxes and stocking shelves for the grand opening in 6 WEEKS. ARRGH! Mocha Frappachino craving unsatisfied!We had a bit of food at Laura's house and then I drove home. I only got lost once which is pretty good considering I didn't really know the best way to get home without my trusty co-pilot.
Watching a re-run of The Office... this show kills me! I swear I've worked for David Brent before. Haven't we all had David as a boss at some point? Bullshitter, thinks he's suave and a hit with the ladies, completely incompetent all rolled into one package that can dance AND produce a music video... Ha!
