I got the job at the HS in the district I interviewed for 3 times. I was worried I'd somehow cocked it all up but yesterday at 4:45pm, they called. I guess part of the delay was that they had to have a meeting about me to decide which school could get me first! They were fighting over me. Ha! My principal can SUCK IT. I'm excited to go to this new place because I've heard good things about it. It's an established school and the dept. chair seemed normal, not like a kiss ass (take note, current dept chair).Hear that? That's the sound of a big ol' sigh of relief. I was starting to worry that I'd have to sell my house. No one wants to lose their house. Except this guy who is a complete tool. But I digress.
The weather is gorgeous. There's 2 weeks left of school (9 days but who's counting?) and we leave for Scotland in 3 weeks. Woohoo! Vacation!
