Tomorrow I have to go make a formal statement at the Stoke Newington Police Station. The detective rang me this morning and asked me to come down. He showed up at my apartment a couple of hours later to hang up fliers and get an idea of where everything went down, where I was, etc. The guy who got jumped didn't know who beat him up. It was a robbery gone wrong. The victim is ok, has a concussion and is groggy. The DC said the victim doesn't really remember a lot of what happened so my statement is important. I was hoping this was not some random act of violence but I guess it is.

I've been jumpy most of the day. My head hurts. I'm off to take a bath.
