I'm swimming in leftovers after the party on Friday. It was an intimate gathering but it was nice to get people together and share food, drinks, laughter. I really am lucky to have a fun group of people to be a part of my life. It's never dull!Disa stayed the night and on Saturday we went to breakfast and hung out for a while. My mom is out of town this weekend for my cousin's wedding in Spokane. My dad had to work so he took me out to dinner last night. It was nice to hang out with him and rant about my sister.
In case you were wondering, I want to smack her. Repeatedly. My mom's 60th birthday is on Saturday and according to my sister, I'm supposed to organize the party because she did Mother's Day. Uh, no. Sorry. I was so mad at her I almost hung up. She is so delusional when it comes to doing her fair share. Everything is her way or she won't do it. Of course, if I do it, it's not done correctly and she'll let me know. GRRRR! Needless to say, if she pulls any crap with me in the next few days, I may have to strangle her.
